On 16 July 2025, a pivotal engagement unfolded at the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Headquarters in Matrade KL, marking a significant step forward in Malaysia’s drive to enhance industry-relevant talent development. The session brought together key representatives from MPC and MMC Engineering (MMCE) to explore collaborative opportunities under the Akademi Dalam Industri (ADI) initiative.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Encik Mohamad Muzaffar Abdul Hamid, Director of the Human Capital Productivity Division at MPC, followed by a response from En Wan Asmizan Wan Hussin representing MMCE’s leadership. These speeches set the tone for a session cantered on shared vision, innovation, and workforce transformation.
The core of the session featured a comprehensive briefing by MPC on the ADI initiative, which aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs. The presentation outlined the background, objectives, and implementation model of ADI, emphasizing its role in aligning training with real-world industrial demands. The company showcased its robust training ecosystem, which includes technical certifications, talent management programs, succession planning, and digital upskilling presented by En Azian Baharuddin. MMCE also shared its vision for future collaboration, identifying key skill areas and potential integration points with ADI.
