On 26 April 2019, Konsortium Bernas MMC SPPM Sdn. Bhd. (Konsortium) organized its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan by distributing food packages and cash donation to 100 families in Kampung Kepala Bendang, Tualang, Kedah.

The CSR program was officiated by YB Dato’ Ir. Hj. Amiruddin Bin Hamzah, Deputy Finance Minister. Also present during programme were Hj. Mohd Razin Bin Ghazali, Chief Operating Officer of MMC Engineering Sdn. Bhd.; En. Mohd Abdul Fatah Endut, Chief Executive Officer of MMC Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Hj. Shakir Jamil Bin Fisal, Chief Executive Officer of MADACorp; along with Padiberas Nasional Berhad (BERNAS), JPS Muda, MADA and MMC Group representatives.

This CSR programmed was part of Konsortium’s initiatives to reach out to the local community and at the same time reflected the company’s commitment as a responsible corporate organisation. The programme was also held to foster relationship between Konsortium and local communities.
