On 24th of February 2016, MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (MMCES), PETRONAS Power Sdn Bhd together with Siemens AG organised a "2 Million man-hours without Lost Time Injury Appreciation Day" at Pengerang Cogeneration Plant Site, Pengerang, Johor.

Present at the function were Mr Liew Yuen Choon, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PETRONAS Power Sdn Bhd, Mr Markus Speith, Project Manager of Siemens AG and Encik Mohd Abdul Fatah Endut, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd.

The event was attended by more than 1,400 site workers from the companies involved as an appreciation for their continuous continuous commitment in Health and Safety Environment (HSE) policies and procedures in achieving 2 million man-hours without accident and injury.

There were a total of 8 award categories presented to 70 individuals comprising of site workers and supervisors. The categories are:

1. Best Machine Operators – Awards for 10 Individual
2. Best Lifting Supervisors – Awards for 5 Individual
3. Best Civil Engineers - Awards for 10 Individual
4. Best Charge Men - Awards for 10 Individual
5. Best Riggers - Awards for 5 Individual
6. Best Scaffolds - Awards for 10 Individual (Mix workers & Supervisors)
7. Best General Workers - Awards for 10 Individual (Mix workers & Supervisors)
8. Rebar Installers - Awards for 10 Individual (Mix workers & Supervisors)
